Athlete Information
What you will need to race and category/flite information:A flite
Athletes are USCF Pro, Cat 1, and Cat 2 racers as well as the top 15 Cat 3 riders
from the previous season. USA cycling MTB Pro and Semi pro riders may
race in the A flite. 1) A valid/current USCF license with Cat 1 or Cat 2 Status.
2) Your Crit Series Plate (if you want your points tracked and to participate in
Cash awards)
3)You must sign your USAC release form
4)Helmet(worn at all times) Bike(USCF Legal) In a nutshell all USCF rules apply.
B Flite
Athletes are USCF Cat 3, Cat 4, and all Cat 4 riders in the top 10 from the previous
years C . USA Cycling Expert and Sport riders can also race in the B flite.
You must have a USCF License to race B flite! 1) A valid/current USCF license with
Cat 3 or Cat 4 Status.
2) Your Crit Series Plate (if you want your points tracked and to participate in
Cash awards).
3)You must sign your release USAC release form.
4)Helmet(worn at all times) Bike(USCF Legal) All USCF rules apply.
C Flite
Athletes are USCF Cat 5 racers and anyone else who wants to come out and get a great
work out and see what criterium racing is all about. 1) A valid/current USCF license
or you can purchase a 1 day license for $5.
2) Your Crit Series Plate (if you want your points tracked and to participate in
awards)
3)You must sign your release USAC release form.
4)Helmet(worn at all times) Bike(USCF Legal) All USCF rules apply.
D Flite
1) A valid/current USCF license or you can purchase a 1 day license for $5 Total
to race $10 for beginners only!
2)You must sign your release USAC release form.
3)Helmet(worn at all times) Bike(USCF Legal) All USCF rules apply.
License Note
Please take care of you USAC license to reduce the time spent filling out paperwork. You can buy your plates at the race but come early to reduce your wait in line and keep the race starting on time. As always your plate purchase includes your first race.
Cost Information
$8 per race for plate holders and $10 for non-plate holders (C and D flite only)
To be a Crit Series member you need only purchase a Crit Series plate for $65 at the any of the venues. Your $65 includes your number plate, first race, and makes you a member of the series. Your results will be tracked throughout the season and points awarded based on any top ten finishes. Fabulous awards/prizes will be given at the end of the season to the best of the best over the season.
